Noal Cohen: My Perspective on Jazz in Rochester from 1955-1961 In-Person
Musician, writer, and jazz historian Noal Cohen will present an overview of the jazz scene in Rochester during the 1950s. Cohen will share his experiences and historical anecdotes, as well as photos, album cover art, and newspaper clippings. Many local musicians during this period, some Eastman School of Music students, went on to have noteworthy careers that Cohen will also discuss. A Zoom link will be sent the day of the program. Registration required.
