Yoga: Movement and Breath with Now: Yoga & Movement: An Online Program

Yoga: Movement and Breath with Now: Yoga & Movement: An Online Program

This online yoga class is one of four classes through the month of April that will help you develop body awareness and embrace the remarkable things your body can do: move, focus, and breathe—all with an attitude of curiosity and playfulness!

Each class is open to anyone who is 18 years and older, and able to get up and down from the floor. Each class is a stand-alone program and will require its own registration. We'll learn some traditional yoga shapes and use various props that you have handy at home (a floor, a wall, a yoga belt or scarf, and a yoga block or some books) to get some clear feedback about how the body is oriented when in different shapes. We’ll end every class with some satisfying stretches and a short savasana (resting pose) to allow for some integration and rest.

Yoga teacher Kasia Pelepko is part of Now: Yoga and Movement, a collective of four yoga teachers sharing their take on how yoga & movement practices can create meaningful change on both a personal and societal level. More information can be found here on their website

This program will be held online using a communication app/website called Zoom. Registration required with an email address. Participants will receive an email with the log-in information for Zoom.
