Ninety Feet Under—What Poverty Does to People In-Person
Hear from John Strazzabosco, high school math teacher for 33 years in the Pittsford Central School District, about the severe impact poverty has on everyday life, with information drawn from his book Ninety Feet Under—What Poverty Does to People. His stories put faces to 90 impacts of wounding he identified that impede a child's climb into middle class, and the physiological devastation that must be faced by the survivors who make it into adulthood. A Zoom link will be sent the day of the program. Registration required.
