Virtual #ReadWomen Book Club

#ReadWomen Book Club is back!!

Join us for the book club that exclusively reads female authors.  The book selection for April (postponed from March) will be The Girl with the Louding Voice by Abi Dare. The book is available to pick up at the Gates Public Library or you can try and get the title through our Overdrive system as an audiobook or e-book.

"The unforgettable, inspiring story of a teenage girl growing up in a rural Nigerian village who longs to get an education so that she can find her “louding voice” and speak up for herself... is a simultaneously heartbreaking and triumphant tale about the power of fighting for your dreams." (Goodreads)

In 2014 Joanna Walsh, author and journalist, founded #ReadWomen to promote and support books written by women. Any genre. Any length. Any kind. We hope to keep up the momentum.
