Virtual Adult Craft: Zentangle Bookmarks In-Person
Join Deb Coller over ZOOM as she takes you through the process of creating these one-of-a-kind crafts. Have a pen, pencil, or fine marker on hand and make some zentangle bookmarks . It’s a great way to unwind and create a memorable bookmark for your summer reading! The kits will be available for pickup Monday June 14th and the Zoom link will be sent out either the day before the event or the day of the event. Registration with valid email address is required to receive link.
*Zentangles are miniature pieces of unplanned, abstract, black and white art created through a very specific Method from an ensemble of simple, structured patterns called tangles... Zentangles are not only exquisitely beautiful, they are fun and relaxing to create. As CZT [certified zentangle teacher] Margaret Bremner has written, “One of the lovely things about Zentangle is that it isn’t supposed to BE anything. Even more, it’s SUPPOSED to NOT be a something..."
Zentangle is:
- unplanned
- can be viewed and drawn from any orientation
- abstract, non-representative art, a collection of patterns [rather than] a drawing of some thing
- small enough to be done in 15 minutes
- portable
- not limited by technology
