Zoom ROC Code Summer Session 1: Learn Scratch Coding with Pong! In-Person
Are you a student in grades 1-12 who is interested in learning computer programming? Now is your chance to try for free! In these three summer sessions with ROC Code, you will participate in an intro class in Scratch and Python coding languages and learn some game making basics. Register for one, two, or all three sessions. (Breakout rooms will be open for different grade levels.)
- Sunday, June 27 – Learn Scratch Coding with Pong!
- Sunday, July 18 – Learn Python Coding with Mad Libs & Choose Your Own Adventures!
- Sunday, August 15 – Learn Turtle Commands in Python Coding!
Instructors Angel Tang and Vinay Pendri are Pittsford Mendon High School sophomores who have taken coding classes at RIT and Khan Academy, as well as entered USACO and Google’s coding competitions. They are the founders of ROC Code, an organization that provides free, virtual computer programming lessons to students.
