Tails and Tales Summer Reading Programs: Meet live animal guests on four Saturdays in July at the Rush Library Gazebo! (Weather-related updates will be posted on our web site one hour before the start times.)
It’s a Horse, Of Course: Saturday, July 10th at 11:30 AM (weather permitting.) Monroe County Sheriff’s Mounted Patrol will visit with a working horse for you to see. Plus, meet author, Lisa Lindsay, and illustrator, Rachel DeVona, who collaborated to create a children’s book, Arlo’s Garden, a true story about a retired racehorse. Together they will read their book, show you horse equipment, and answer your questions about horse behaviors and care. There will be healthy treats for children and horses. Please wear masks. Meet at the Rush Library Gazebo. Registration required.
