Python with ROC Code In-Person
Learn Python computer programming with experienced high school programmers from ROC Code! No prior experience is needed, but students are encouraged to make a Repl account at https://replit.com/ prior to the event. Students will create a simple, fun, beginner-level project or game that will get them started on their coding journey. A Zoom link will be sent the day of the event. Designed for grades 6-8, but students entering grade 5 are welcome. Registration is required.
About the Presenters:
Angel Tang and Vinay Pendri are students at Mendon High School. They are the founders of ROC Code, an organization striving to connect student programmers with those interested in programming to produce the next generation of computer scientists! ROC Code is partnering with the Pittsford Library to bring this programming event to the community, but also offers one on one coding sessions for those who are interested in taking a deeper dive into programming.
