In-Person Tinker Crate for September/October

Calling all tinkerers! Do you know someone in grades 4 through 9 who likes seriously fun, hands-on projects? Our Tinker Crate is for you and is now IN-PERSON! The September/October Tinker Crate features a Mini Wind Turbine Kit. Together we will design a turbine to harness the power of the wind, create the blades utilizing recycling bin materials and adjust the angle, pitch and number of blades in order to observe the electrical output of our wind turbines!
The Crate comes with the Mini Wind Turbine Kit, a guide to create your Wind Turbine, several different activities to explore as well as a couple surprises! The only thing you will need for this Crate is a screwdriver, which will be provided for you during the program.

Don't forget to return your box to the Circulation Desk for a special prize!
