Business First Wednesday - Introduction to the Accounting Function; Understanding basic accounting function, terms and process In-Person
Typically a bookkeeper or an accountant manages the transactional process, interpretation of the financial activity and reports back to the business owner. Unfortunately, unless the business owner has some understanding of how the accounting and bookkeeping activities affect their business, it may open the door to losses, inaccuracies or potential Internal Revenue Service questions.
In this workshop our goal is to introduce some accounting basics that include:
Accounting Vocabulary, Cash Reconciliations, Process Information, and Resources
From this workshop you will gather enough information to know how to approach accounting requirements, what they mean and how you should use them, as well as, take an active role in the numbers and seek out resources to achieve profitability.
This program will be presented by Gina Mangiamele.
