Non-Fiction Book Club (the Pioneers) - IN PERSON In-Person
This club is for adults (ages 18+) who want to expand their horizons and knowledge through non-fiction books. Each selection is for the group to read independently and discuss together. Please register, as seats are limited.
This month's title is the Pioneers:The Heroic Story of the Settlers Who Brought the American Ideal West by David McCullough.
Summary: Pulitzer Prize–winning historian David McCullough rediscovers an important and dramatic chapter in the American story—the settling of the Northwest Territory by dauntless pioneers who overcame incredible hardships to build a community based on ideals that would come to define our country.
Meetings: the 3rd Wednesday of every other month (January, March, May, July, September, November).
