Books (two children’s titles): Opal's Greenwood Oasis by Najah-Amatullah Hylton and Quraysh Ali Lansana and Unspeakable: The Tulsa Race Massacre by Carole Boston Weatherford

These historically accurate children's books describe Greenwood, one of the most prosperous black communities of the early 20th century, which was lost in the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921 – the worst act of racial violence in American history.

Reviewer: Zahyia Rolle, a musician, lyricist, producer and creative visionary, who has dedicated her life to existing in spaces that elevate and change the limited narratives, images, and awareness of what it means to exist as a Black American Woman.
