Trick-or-Treat: A History of Halloween In-Person
It is said the veil between the living and dead is growing and that spirits freely roam the earth one day each year: Halloween. How did these ancient beliefs develop into modern customs of trick-or-treating, carving jack-o-lanterns, and wearing costumes? Maya Rook of Illusory Time and the History Happy Hour series explores the origins of this spooky holiday and the various cultural traditions that weave together into our present-day celebrations. Registration required.
