Ashes of Attica - Author Visit In-Person
Save the date! Authors Gary Craig, author of Seven Million, and Deanne Quinn Miller will be at the library talking about their new book, The Prison Guard's Daughter: My Journey Through the Ashes of Attica. Their new book focuses on the murder of Deanne’s father, a corrections’ officer in Attica, during the Attica prison riot in September of 1971. He was the only officer to die that day at the hands of the prison inmates. The two authors will be selling and signing books from 6-6:30pm and then discussing the book and answering questions from 6:30pm- 8pm. We hope to see you there!
