Learn to Knit Easy Mittens, Parts 1, 2, & 3 -

Saturdays, January 8-22 from 2:30-4:30 PM

For Adults

*Registration opens Thursday, December 23*

Registration is limited – you must attend all three classes. Learn how to knit mittens on straight needles with Betsy Liano. Using straight needles and garter stitch, we will make warm winter mittens. You will learn how to increase, decrease, and seam a professional edge. Since the patter is garter stitch, no purling is necessary! Basic knitting experience needed. If you haven’t knit in a while, we can remind you how. Materials required: 1 skein 100 grams Patons Classic Wool Roving (bulky weight) available at JoAnn’s; 1 set of 12” straight needles sized 9 or 10; 2 stitch holders (or can substitute 2 large safety pins or 2 large wire paper clips); 1 blunt-tipped darning needle.
