Poetry: Writing Perk-Ups! A three-part series In-Person
Writing perk-ups!
To quote Robert Frost, "A good poem should start with delight— and end in wisdom…”
To offset covid blues, whether you have never written a poem in your life or write them daily, come for a lively session where we look at good poems that “perk up your ears, grab your attention”. We will create a tool box and check list for writing.
It starts with paying attention to positives. Prompt #1 will be a pocket of confetti of happiness.
Kitty Jospé has an MA in French Literature from New York University and an MFA in Poetry from Pacific University, Oregon. She is moderator of Poetry Oasis at the Central Library, O Pen, at the Pittsford Library and embraces the joy of working with language and helping others to become good readers of poems, people, and life. She has published six books since 2009, and her work appears in numerous journals and anthologies.
