Rush Readers’ Book Club -In Person In-Person

Rush Readers’ Book Club: For May we will be reading The Residence: Inside the Private World of the White House by Kate Andersen Brower. The U.S. White House is the President's private home, and it is also the only private residence of a head of state that is open to the public, free of charge. Chuck Todd, moderator of Meet the Press says, “This intimate portrait of what it’s like to take care of the first family is a compelling read. Whether you’re a political or history junkie or devoted Downton Abbey viewer, this book adds unique context to understanding our presidents as human beings.”  Join us for an in-person discussion on Thursday, May 26th from 7-9:00 PM or by Zoom on Thursday, June 2nd, from 7-9:00 PM. Space is limited, please register in advance.
