Strawberry Jam Preservation (In partnership with Rush Public Library and Scottsville Public Library) In-Person
**NOTE: This event takes place at the William Udicious Pavilion, 1900 Rush-Scottsville Road (behind Rush Public Library/ Town Hall)**
If you are brand new to making Jam or have made it but have questions, this hands-on session is for you! A Cornell Cooperative Extension Monroe County Master Food Preserver will be doing an in-person demonstration making jam while talking details through each step. The goal of the class is to give you the confidence to make your own jam at home. Expect a lively and informative class. You'll have the opportunity to purchase 8 oz canning jars ($6 case) and Sure-Jell pectin ($3 box) as well. We will follow and talk through the Sure-Jell recipe.
Space is limited, so advance registration is mandatory for this event.
