Teakettle Music In-Person
Join Cathy McGrath in this highly ACTIVE program of singing games and cherished songs that relate to story books. This program creates exuberant, wholesome fun! The audience members act out multicultural singing games, sing a fun song about borrowing books from the library, play drums, get tootled by a flute, and GIGGLE at the dancing limberjack toys. Everyone will clap, sing and dance in a celebration of creative movement, self expression, and friendly cooperation. This program was created especially for the SUMMER READING PROGRAM Oceans of Possibilities. An experienced folk music performer and family literacy teacher, with a specialty in traditional American singing games, Cathy uses guitar, banjo, limberjack puppets, flute, penny whistle and children’s drums in her programs. No registration required.
