Language of Flowers with the Genesee Country Moveable Museum In-Person
In celebration of the Town of Chili Bicentennial, the Chili Public Library is sponsoring six Genesee Country Museum Moveable Museum programs to be held throughout the year at the Chili Community Center. The Museum educators bring touchable, usable objects to inform those present about the customs and activities of the 19th century.
Learn about one of the most enchanting customs of the 19th century – communicating through flowers instead of words. Find out what different flowers mean and how to communicate covertly using specimens form your backyard.
For grades 7-12 and adults. Registration is required and begins two weeks before each program.
