**CANCELLED** Cannabis Industry Meet-Up - Labor Peace Agreements and More! Online

Cannabis-related businesses will be highly regulated. Join us to learn from experts and get support from other cannabis entrepreneurs so you can effectively and legally operate your business. This group is facilitated by NY HempLab and ROC NORML. Join attorneys Michael Roche and Luke Wright from Harter Secrest & Emery LLP to discuss labor peace agreements, a necessary part of cannabis licensure, and more!

Mike represents clients in regulated industries such as military manufacturers, food manufacturers, technology, cannabis, alcohol beverage producers and retailers, and other organizations on matters relating to government compliance, including the export of products, privacy and data security in the United States and European Union (GDPR), product labeling standards, and state and federal alcohol licensing requirements. His alcohol industry experience includes representing breweries, wineries, cideries, and

distilleries on contract production, distribution, and licensing agreements. Drawing on his wealth of experience and passion for problem-solving, Luke works closely with executives, human resources officers, and in-house counsel to create solutions that will achieve desired outcomes and minimize risk. Luke’s clients rely on his expertise and his friendly, relaxed demeanor to counsel them through a range of labor and employment issues, including management of family and medical leave and accommodation issues, navigation of difficult separations and transitions, and development of employment policies and programs that ensure compliance with applicable laws and avoid potential issues down the road.

This group is open to those who are in the planning or startup stages of a cannabis related business. Funding for this program was made possible by the Harold Hacker Grant for the Advancement of Libraries.
