Serpents Beneath the Surface: Professor Richard D. Hamell, author of Great Mysteries of the Earth: Myths, Monsters & Mysteries, will discuss lake monsters thought to inhabit the waters of New York State, and describe their possible connection to illustrious 5-star monsters such as Nessie of Loch Ness and Champ of Lake Champlain on Thursday, July 7 at 2:00 PM in the Library. This lecture is for ages 10 and up; space is limited, please register in advance.
