Zoom Author Talk - Dr. Meg Lowman Online
Meet Dr. Meg Lowman, National Geographic Explorer, and Director of TREE Foundation. She authored The Arbornaut: A Life Discovering the 8th Continent in the Trees Above Us and will share stories, which she affectionately calls her “misadventures”, as a pioneer explorer of the treetops. Dr. Lowman has worked in over 45 countries, conserving forests, and discovering biodiversity, as well as serving as a champion for women in science. This event is on Monday, September 26 from 7:00 – 8:00 PM and was made possible by a consortium of Monroe County libraries. Please register in advance; you will receive a Zoom link via email on the day of the event.
*Reminder: If you register for a program but later realize you cannot attend, please call us or go online to cancel your registration. We now have waiting lists for our classes, and someone may be waiting for a spot to open up. We appreciate this courtesy!
