Author Talk: Dr. Meg Lowman, National Geographic Explorer and Director, live via ZOOM in our Duryea Room* In-Person
Dr. Meg Lowman, National Geographic Explorer and Director, TREE Foundation, will share stories—which she affectionately calls her “misadventures”—as a pioneer Explorer in the treetops. Her book, The Arbornaut: A Life Discovering the 8th Continent in the Trees Above Us is a riveting memior of this conservation biologist. Dr. Lowman has worked in over 45 countries, conserving forests and discovering biodiversity, as well as serving as a champion for women in science. This talk will give you a birds-eye view of the work’s forests!
