1932 Election In-Person
The 1932 Presidential election between Herbert Hoover and Franklin Delano Roosevelt saw the political climate shift from seven decades of Republican dominance. Many Americans blamed incumbent President Hoover’s domestic policies for the Great Depression and turned to FDR and his proposed New Deal. Mark Sample, History Professor at MCC will discuss the importance of this election.
