The State of Suds: The history and future of Rochester craft beer In-Person
Will Cleveland, a Rochester native/resident and former investigative reporter for the Democrat and Chronicle, has been covering the western New York beer scene since 2014 — first at the D&C and now through a weekly newsletter, the Cleveland Prost. During his time chronicling beer, the Rochester scene has grown to 25 breweries in Monroe County, including 13 in the city of Rochester.
Cleveland will provide a historical deep dive in Rochester beer, provide predictions about the future, and answer audience questions. He’ll also reflect on his 14-year career at the Democrat and Chronicle and look at the future of journalism.
