Join us as Jane Hopkins, photographer and author presents her newly published book, Cemetery Reflections. Stroll through three centuries of American cemeteries in a video presentation of compelling images from Jane’s book.

Jane photographed gravestones and statuaries from more than 200 cemeteries in the eastern United States and Canada. The book pairs memorable poetry and prose with photos of sacred places that honor individual lives and the loving memories of those left behind. Photos from cemeteries located in the Rochester region will be included the presentation.

Jane Hopkins, member of the Friends of Mt. Hope Cemetery and Association of Gravestone Studies received her training in traditional photography at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. Jane expanded into digital photography by taking courses at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Her fine-art photographs have been exhibited and sold since 2002!
