Hear from Amanda Chestnut, curator of the In This Moment chapbook series, as she discusses the inspiration and process behind the creation of the ten-part project that culminated in ten teams of Black writers and photographers profiling ten Black leaders from across the city of Rochester several years ago. Among those profiled are musician and attorney Danielle Ponder, renowned local artist Shawn Dunwoody, New York State Senator Samra Brouk, disabilities advocate Luticha Doucette, and RPO guest conductor and 3rd trombonist Herb Smith. Copies of the chapbooks will be available.
