Rush Readers’ Book Club In-Person
This month’s book is the 2022 Rochester Reads selection, Hell of a Book, by Jason Mott, winner of the National Book Award. In this novel a Black author sets out on a cross-country publicity tour to promote his bestselling novel. This “deeply honest and electrically funny” work of fiction goes to the heart of racism, police violence, and the hidden costs exacted upon Black Americans and America as a whole. Novelist and poet Mott will appear November 1-3 for four Rochester Reads events that will be free and open to the public. Details on registering for all events can be found on wab.org.
