Stop the Bleed Training In-Person
Stop the Bleed is a free course created by the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma that teaches the public how to perform life saving interventions. This 2 hour interactive course gives participants the background of why "Stop the Bleed" has reached a national education level, how to identify a bleed, how to control the bleed through application of pressure, packing, and applying a tourniquet. Presented by Gates Volunteer Ambulance, this free class will give you all the tools to stop a bleed and you will walk away with a certification in the Stop the Bleed course.
