SUMMARY:Cyanotypes for the Solstice
DESCRIPTION:Cyanotypes for the Summer Solstice \n\n\n\nCelebrate the
beginning of Summer with Cyanotypes. To celebrate the beginning of summer
we will be using the sun to make Cyanotype prints. The Cyanotype process is
a simple photographic process that uses the suns UV light to expose its
light sensitive material\, then developed in water to make a final image.
This process can be used to make many types of images and has a rich visual
history since its invention in 1842 by Sir John Hershel. Come learn about
this process\, the solstice\, and make something to celebrate the beginning
of a new season. \n\nCyanotypes for Summer\n\nFor the months of June\, July
and August Arts division will be having Bi-Monthly Cyanotype
programs.\n\nPlease join us on one of the following days or many of
 them.\n\nSaturday June 8th 12-2pm\n\nFriday June 21st 12-2pm Cyanotypes for
 the solstice\n\nFriday July 19th 12-2pm\n\nMonday July 29th
 12-2pm\n\nWednesday August 7th 12-2pm\n\nMonday August 19th 12-2pm
