 Bright Creatures\, Shelby Van Pelt\, this fall at Penfield Public Library! 
 Remarkably Bright Creatures is the charming story of Tova\, a grieving 
 widow\, and her unlikely connection with a giant Pacific octopus. The New 
 York Times describes the 2022 novel as “one of those increasingly rare 
 success stories: a quiet\, quirky literary debut that has been buoyed by 
 bookseller love and word-of-mouth recommendations.”\n\nA favorite with 
 book clubs\, Remarkably Bright Creatures has sold over two million copies 
 worldwide. It is soon to be the subject of a Netflix film starring Sally 
 Field.\n\nJoin us for a book signing and light refreshments after the talk. 
 You are welcome to bring your own copy of Van Pelt's book or purchase a 
 copy from local indie bookshop Another Chapter Bookstore at the
