 Guy!!!\n\nMike O’Brian moved from his hometown of Painted Post\, N.Y. to 
 Rochester in 1972 where he  began broadcasting on radio station WSAY. From 
 there\, he went onto Rochester radio stations WBBF and WVOR. Then in 1995\, 
 Mike got into TV as The Getaway Guy on cable’s channel 9\, RNEWS. After 
 24 years of taking viewers on new day trips every week\, Mike retired from 
 TV. But wait! He’s back...with new weekly travel Getaways and day-trips 
 seen on Facebook and YouTube. And\, you still might find Mike talking 
 travel at a local group function or gathering...just like this one!
