DESCRIPTION:In May you have a choice of reading Sophia's War\, A Tale of 
 the Revolution by Avi\, a historical fiction novel about a young girl\, 
 Sophia Calderwood\, who becomes a spy for the American cause during the 
 Revolutionary War in British-occupied New York City. The other selection is 
 Travels with George\, In Search of Washington and His Legacy by Nathaniel 
 Philbrick\, a non-fiction book that follows the author and his wife as they 
 retrace George Washington's presidential tours through the former 
 colonies\, blending historical narrative with personal reflection.  When we 
 meet\, we will watch a documentary related to the revolutionary events of 
 our country\, followed by discussion of this time period in recognition of 
 the 250th anniversary of the United States Join us for discussion & dessert 
 on Thursday\, May 28th at 7:00 PM.  Please register for a seat.
