Sew a Primitive Halloween Doll

Sew a Primitive Halloween Doll In-Person

In this class we will be sewing a Primitive Halloween doll. Primitives or Prims are dolls that have a worn well loved look. They are not meant to be perfect, many times there are exposed seams and visible threads. This doll wears an off the shoulder Regency style dress with a tall hat and striped legs. To save time I will sew and paint the body ahead of the class. You will sew the dress, sew the arms and legs on, create the face, put the hat together, and paint the stripes on the legs. If you have things you want to add like a brooch or dried flowers, bring them along. The dress can be sewn on our machines or hand sewn. After registering you will tell me if you can sew on a machine. This class is for adults and requires registration. Use this link to register: https://calendar.libraryweb.org/event/5704274

Please do not bring children to this program as they can be disruptive to other students.
