Homemade Virtual Cooking Series: "Homemade with The DiGrazia Family"

Homemade Virtual Cooking Series: "Homemade with The DiGrazia Family" In-Person

Learn about diverse traditional foods and the people who make them during Homemade Cooking, a series of conversational cooking demonstrations.

Join us online for a cooking class, taught by The DiGrazia Family who will feature recipes that celebrate their Peruvian and Sicilian heritage.

The DiGrazia’s lived in Catania and moved to Rochester several years ago. They opened Dolce Italy, a bakery at the corner of East Avenue and Winton Road in October 2020. Catania is the second largest city on the East Coast of Sicily. Please visit their website at https://dolceitaly.us

Hannah Davis, folklorist and faculty member of Rochester Institute of Technology School of Individualized Study, will participate as demonstrators recount their experiences as newcomers in the Flower City and share favorite family recipes.

This project is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
