First Wednesdays for Small Business

First Wednesdays for Small Business In-Person

Are you an aspiring business owner or already own a business? Join us the first Wednesday of each month to learn business basics to help you succeed! This program is in partnership with the Small Business Development Center and the US Small Business Administration. 

 

Paul Visca, CPA, will discuss Year End Tax Planning Ideas for Businesses. He will also present information about starting and operating a business including items such as Recordkeeping, Business Structure, Self-Employment, and Independent Contractor vs. Employee.

 

Convenient parking is nearby in the Court St and South Ave Garages.

The Central Library is accessible to people with disabilities. The program is funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U. S. Small Business Administration. Services are extended to the public on a nondiscriminatory basis.
